LEARN TO CODE
You’ll be challenged and rigorously trained in our immersive full stack coding bootcamp. Taught by professional developers, you’ll spend 6 to 7 days a week and 12 to 14 hours a day in lectures, coding time, and self-study. When you have finished our curriculum, you will have learned enough to launch a career in software development. We focus on holistic training, and part of our curriculum covers soft skills and personal development. Our curriculum covers everything you will need to know to be a full-stack developer. From programming languages to industry best practices, you will get hands-on experience working with today’s web development tools.

IN-PERSON PROGRAM
We’ll teach you full-stack development over the course of 14 weeks in our downtown Chicago classroom so you’ll be eligible for placement with our paid internships and full-time employment as a web developer.
The In-Person Program is onsite and immersive, so you’ll get as much attention and motivation as possible from our staff and your peers. This is the best option for applicants with nothing holding them back who want to have the best possible opportunity for a coding job after only three months.
LIVE REMOTE PROGRAM
Cannot attend in-person and don’t want to forfeit the benefits of the live experience? With our 14-week Live Remote Program, you participate in live classroom discussions, assignments, and team projects with direct feedback from professors and fellow students remotely.
Full scholarships are available. Attendees are not eligible to participate in the Chicago-based internship program.
The Live Remote Program is full-time, follows the same calendar and daily schedule as the in-person program, and is listed as a VET TEC Training Provider by the VA.
SELF-PACED PROGRAM
Are you a veteran, active duty service member, or military spouse, but you can’t attend either our In-Person or Live Remote programs? You can still go through our entire curriculum for free, on your own schedule.
Sign up whenever you want, do the work whenever you can. The Self-Paced Program covers all of our content and class videos. Learn to code at your own convenience!
This program is not listed as a VET TEC training provider and does not provide a certificate upon completion, but is completely free!
LEARN THE BASICS
Are you completely new to coding? You can go straight to our Intro to Coding program, which is free to everyone, and will get you started in your software programming journey. This self-paced prep program will allow you to learn and practice the necessary skills for successful admission into the Code Platoon program.
EVENING AND WEEKEND PROGRAM
Our Evening and Weekend program is a great option for Veterans or military spouses who have a full-time job or other commitments during the day, but are interested in learning software development. Each Evening and Weekend class is 28 weeks in length and covers the same curriculum as our Full-Time program. Students attend remotely three nights per week and all day on Saturday. Class sizes are small, allowing our instructors to maximize our students’ learning and networking opportunities while balancing their day time schedules.
“Enova is extremely proud to be one of the inaugural companies to support the launch of Code Platoon. Its mission — to help returning veterans — is a cause that hews closely to our company’s values. Working with the veterans in the first cohort as mentors, instructors, and hosts of the first ever “robot wars” hackathon was incredibly rewarding for our team. And on graduation we were pleased to extend offers to graduates with one of them now a full-time member of Enova’s Technology team. Code Platoon is a great organization doing vital work in Chicago.”
NETWORKING AND COMMUNITY
As a Code Platoon graduate, you’ll be part of our community. You’ll be able to forge professional relationships with our network of veterans, military spouses and developers, and grow your career potential. A common misconception is that you need a specific background or education to be a software developer. Our students come from many different paygrades, MOSs, and branches.

CAREER PREPARATION
Preparing to get a job is a skill in itself. What’s the best way to build a resume and LinkedIn profile? How do coders prepare for technical interviews, behavioral interviews, and white-boarding? How does a graduate conduct a job search? We cover it all in the classroom with industry professionals who have been through the ropes and know what it takes.

AN INSTANT NETWORK
We recognize that one of the biggest hurdles of starting a new career is developing a network in the industry. We solve that for you. Every student gets an industry mentor, and every night, professional software developers volunteer as teaching assistants. With Code Platoon, you will have direct contact with 8 to 10 professional developers every week.
