Scholarships are available for both Veterans and military spouses who will attend Code Platoon.
Our goal at Code Platoon is to help make a career in software engineering accessible to all underrepresented groups and contribute to diversifying the technology workforce. Black and Hispanic Scholarships are available for Veterans, Servicemembers, and military spouses in each cohort. Each scholarship is valued at up to the full cost of tuition.
This scholarship is awarded to women Veterans, Servicemembers, and spouses in honor of Rear Admiral Grace Hopper. Each Women in Technology Scholarship is valued at up to the full cost of tuition. “We know that women only make up about 25% of IT roles. Code Platoon is committed to creating more access and opportunities for Veteran women engineers. This scholarship reaffirms that commitment,” says Rodrigo Levy, Executive Director, Code Platoon.
This scholarship is awarded to transgender Veterans or military spouses. Each Transgender Veteran Scholarship is valued at up to the full cost of tuition. “At Code Platoon, we are extremely proud that we are absolutely egalitarian, where every student has an equal opportunity to succeed. Our Transgender Veteran Scholarships are an opportunity to provide access to our training program for this underrepresented group,” says Rodrigo Levy, Executive Director, Code Platoon.
Code Platoon provides transitioning Servicemembers with an opportunity to develop in-demand job skills while still serving.
The Regional Transportation Authority may also cover transportation if you are a Veteran.
