For one female veteran per cohort. Covers the full $13,000 tuition
This scholarship is awarded to a female veteran in honor of Rear Admiral Grace Hopper. “What sets us apart is that we challenge our vets to keep giving their best as we prepare them with the tools they need to succeed in a new career. We know that women make up about 25% of IT roles and the industry has documented and is in the process of dealing with a gender bias,” says Rodrigo Levy, Founder of Code Platoon.
For two veterans and one military spouse per cohort. Covers the full $13,000 tuition for the remote program
This scholarship is awarded to both veterans and military spouses who wish to participate in real-time classroom discussions, assignments and team projects with direct feedback from professors, but cannot attend in-person at our campus, located in Chicago. Preference is given to those with personal circumstances that impact their ability to relocate. Remote program participants are not eligible for the Chicago-based internship program.
For one transgender veteran per cohort. Covers the full $13,000 tuition
This scholarship is awarded to a transgender veteran. “At Code Platoon we are extremely proud that we are absolutely egalitarian, and we want to do our part in making things equal. We already do our best to offer the best financial aid in the industry thanks to partnerships with wonderful organizations, this is just a small but additional effort as we grow, to help the cause of narrowing that gap.” says Rodrigo Levy, Founder of Code Platoon.
