Our in-person programs are GI Bill®-approved, and our Full-stack Software Engineering programs qualify for VET TEC and VR&E benefits, empowering you to utilize your VA benefits for comprehensive training. Our recruitment and admissions team can assist you in determining which education benefit may be best for you.
Students can also take advantage of our diverse military coding scholarships, tailored to seamlessly support their transition into the tech industry. Our scholarship options are listed below. (Applicants interested in scholarships will be asked to select an option as part of their application to attend Code Platoon.)

VETERAN AND MILITARY SPOUSE SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available for both Veterans and military spouses who will attend Code Platoon.
BLACK AND HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIPS
Our goal at Code Platoon is to help make a career in software engineering accessible to all underrepresented groups and contribute to diversifying the technology workforce. Black and Hispanic Scholarships are available for Veterans, Servicemembers, and military spouses in each cohort. Each scholarship is valued at up to the full cost of tuition.
WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIPS
This scholarship is awarded to women Veterans, Servicemembers, and spouses in honor of Rear Admiral Grace Hopper. Each Women in Technology Scholarship is valued at up to the full cost of tuition. “We know that women only make up about 25% of IT roles. Code Platoon is committed to creating more access and opportunities for Veteran women engineers. This scholarship reaffirms that commitment,” says Rodrigo Levy, Executive Director, Code Platoon.
TRANSGENDER VETERAN SCHOLARSHIPS
This scholarship is awarded to transgender Veterans or military spouses. Each Transgender Veteran Scholarship is valued at up to the full cost of tuition. “At Code Platoon, we are extremely proud that we are absolutely egalitarian, where every student has an equal opportunity to succeed. Our Transgender Veteran Scholarships are an opportunity to provide access to our training program for this underrepresented group,” says Rodrigo Levy, Executive Director, Code Platoon.
ACTIVE DUTY SCHOLARSHIPS
Code Platoon provides transitioning Servicemembers with an opportunity to develop in-demand job skills while still serving.
CODE PLATOON IS GI BILL® AND VET TEC® APPROVED FOR ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
The Regional Transportation Authority may also cover transportation if you are a Veteran.
