Tuition & Funding

Learning to code is within your reach. That’s what makes Code Platoon unique: we offer affordable developer training exclusively for US veterans and military spouses.

Jumpstarting a career as a software developer can come with a hefty price tag. Tuition for a typical developer boot costs upwards of $10,000-$15,000. Code Platoon helps veterans and military spouses overcome this barrier by covering about 80% of the cost.

Code Platoon Scholarships

Veterans and military spouses in the program can expect to receive $10,500 in scholarships:

  • Code Platoon Tuition: $13,000
  • Out-of-pocket cost: $2,500

Women In Technology Scholarship

In addition to our $10,500 in Code Platoon Scholarships, all women veterans or military spouses who enroll in Code Platoon will automatically receive Women In Technology Scholarships. Scholarships are $500 each.

Transgender Veteran Scholarship

Through generous support, Code Platoon will offer one full-ride scholarship to a transgender veteran. This means 100% of the $13,000 tuition will be paid for.

Paid Internships

Students will be eligible to continue with a 3 to 6 month paid internship at one of our Sponsor Companies after completing the course. The amount of sponsors can vary significantly from one cohort to the next.

A Good ROI

Similar, immersive-style coding bootcamps have placement rates upwards of 90%, with starting salaries ranging between $60,000 and $100,000.
