Don’t let the lack of VET TEC funding keep you from pursuing your dreams. Apply to Code Platoon’s Uniform Platoon today and take the first step towards a rewarding career in software engineering.
If you are a Veteran or Servicemember impacted by the recent VET TEC program funding exhaustion, Code Platoon has your back. As a nonprofit coding bootcamp exclusively created for Veterans and active duty Servicemembers, we understand the challenges you may be facing and are here to help.
With the VET TEC program unable to accept new enrollments until Congress authorizes additional appropriations, Code Platoon is stepping up to provide opportunities for those impacted. We have re-opened applications for our upcoming Full-stack Software Engineering cohort, Uniform Platoon. Accepted applicants will be eligible to apply for a Code Platoon scholarship. You may also be able to use the GI Bill if applying to attend in-person at our Chicago location.
This 15-week, full-time program is scheduled from June 5 to September 15, 2023, and will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to launch a successful career in software engineering. Our expert instructors and personalized curriculum will ensure you receive the training you need to thrive in this rapidly growing industry.
If you have been accepted to another coding bootcamp but can no longer attend due to the lack of VET TEC funding, we welcome you to apply to Code Platoon’s Uniform Platoon.
- Applicants must have been accepted to another coding bootcamp or training program and impacted by the VET TEC funding issue.
- The deadline to complete the entire Code Platoon application is May 13, 2023.
- As part of Step Two of the Code Platoon application process, applicants must provide proof of their prior bootcamp acceptance. This may include acceptance letters or other relevant documentation. - If accepted, applicants are eligible to apply for a Code Platoon scholarship. Scholarships typically cover between 80-100% of the value of tuition.
- If attending in-person, accepted applicants may be eligible to use the GI Bill.
- Accepted applicants must complete the required pre-work before the June 5th start of the cohort. This pre-work will help you hit the ground running and ensure that you are prepared for the rigorous curriculum ahead.
